About the position Klang is looking for an experienced QA Engineer (f/m/d). You will be an integral part of our development process, working closely with our talented Engineers and QA team members. As a QA Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of "SEED by developing cutting-edge testing tools, automating testing processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain the highest quality standards throughout the game development lifecycle. You will also work with the QA Director to achieve quarterly OKRs, help define processes and create processes that are what good looks like. What you will do Create, update and maintain testing tools to streamline the QA process, reduce manual efforts, and increase the efficiency of the testing team. Develop and maintain automation scripts for testing various aspects of the game, ensuring comprehensive test coverage. Work closely with game developers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand the game's functionality, design test cases, and ensure that the game meets quality standards. Collaborate with the QA team to develop test strategies, test plans, and test cases to ensure the game's functionality and performance are thoroughly tested. Identify, report, and track defects systematically, ensuring that issues are communicated and resolved promptly. Perform regression testing to verify bug fixes and ensure that new updates do not introduce new issues. Conduct performance testing to assess the game's scalability and identify potential bottlenecks. Document test procedures, test cases, and test results to maintain a clear record of testing efforts. Participate in the development of QA processes, methodologies, and best practices. Provide valuable feedback to the development team to enhance gameplay, user experience, and overall quality. Work closely with the QA director to ensure efficient and thorough testing coverage. Who we think will be a great fit Proven experience as a QA Engineer in the gaming industry. Proficiency in C# Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit). Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
