We are looking for full stack engineers to join our fast-growing team. Youll play a central role in building the backend of our generative AI products to help automate many manual processes faced by lawyers.
You will focus on backend development, reporting directly to our CTO, and as part of a lean engineering team youll have a chance to contribute across the stack.
We are looking for a mix of skills in the engineers joining our team and dont expect you to cover all of them. Feel free to apply even if not all of the items below apply to you. In-depth experience with:
- Software engineering practices
- Python/Django
- Open Telekom Cloud
- Deploying LLMs for inference
- Building scalable SaaS applications
- Best practices regarding security, data protection and pseudonymization
Personal qualifications
- A self-starter mindset - you enjoy working independently while keeping the team’s common goal in mind
- A pragmatic approach to problem solving. It’s more important to you to solve the problem than to use new/hyped technology
- An understanding of trade-offs between simple 80% solutions and complex, maintenance-heavy 100% solutions

Practicalities
Our team works in person at the Merantix AI Campus in Berlin. Our target market is German-speaking countries, so fluency in German is a big plus. You must also have excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
