Job Description During your master thesis, you will be responsible for extending an existing MEMS gyroscope simulation model (micromechanic and electrostatic) in MATLAB Simulink sensor-specific physical properties such as nonlinear mechanics and temperature dependencies. Together with Bosch experts, you will play an active role in understanding the underlying physical effects and the corresponding cause-and-effect relationships. You will also choose an appropriate modeling approach, such as using MATLAB Simscape. You will design validation and sanity checks for models. The scope of the Master's thesis will be tailored to your application profile and current needs. Qualifications Education: studies in the field of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Engineering Cybernetics, Microsystems Engineering, Physics or comparable Experience and Knowledge: very good knowledge in MATLAB and Simulink, experienced in mathematical description and modeling of dynamic systems as well as physical understanding of mechanical and electrical systems Personality and Working Practice: high degree of self-employment to acquire new knowledge and conscientious work Languages: good in English and German Additional Information Start: according to prior agreement Duration: 3 - 6 months Requirement for this thesis is the enrollment at university.
