(Junior) D2C eCommerce Manager (all genders) The following adventures await you at Schleich: This role’s primary contact will be the Senior Digital Marketing Manager Ecommerce for our Europoean websites‘ Direct To Consumer business. The role will focus mostly on improving the UX of our European websites, with occasional global support, to drive conversions from the site visitors. There will be occasional projects working with colleagues from marketing and Digitial Commercial Enablement (DCE) teams in both the US and in Germany. Direct-to-Consumer UX and Merchandising: Collaborate with the manager to update website collections, add/remove products, and remerchandise collections to optimize product visibility and drive revenue and conversions Utilize apps for onsite personalization and merchandising, including content, product recommendations, bundles, and sitewide messaging; QA all strategies on test and production sites Develop and execute onsite strategies for Ratings/Reviews and UGC; adjust and react to trends versus benchmarks Monitor website performance with tools and make recommendations and onsite adjustments based on performance and KPIs Coordinate new product launches, ensuring all products have the necessary data, assets, product tags, and inventory for a timely launch Catalog and Content Management: Update, maintain and QA the website product catalog, including setting up new products, enabling/disabling products based on inventory, and refreshing product content (assets and copy) Campaign Management: Collaborate with manager to execute tasks for promotional campaigns on test and production sites, including the setup of visuals and copy, merchandising of collections, and landing and collection page templates. QA website on campaign launch and end dates to ensure website transitions appropriately Create, test and schedule promotional discount pricing rules, pricing file creation and import, and ensure pricing launches accurately in real time Develop and execute onsite messaging strategies for campaigns. Utilize tools to monitor and analyze customer behavior and make changes in real time to drive revenue and conversion Cross-Functional Communication, Onsite Search and SEO: Communicate new collection and landing page links to cross-functional teams and ensure proper setup with SEO, metadata, etc. Manage onsite search and maximize performance based on search trends onsite Request and execute translations to make the website accessible for all supported languages Website QA and enhancement support: Provide feedback to DCE team on website issues; provide feedback to DEV team in JIRA Representative for the business for QA of website enhancements to stage and production websites; provide feedback to DCE and DEV teams on issues and bugs The chapters of your story so far: 2+ years experience in a similar e-commerce specialist role, with a focus on website management, merchandising, and promotional campaigns Strong attention to detail and ability to QA strategies, pricing, and website content effectively Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams including digital, brand, ecommerce, and marketing managers Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality work on time Fluent English language skills, German or French are a plus Great to have, but not required: 5+ years of ecommerce experience working with a brand’s direct to consumer site Proficiency in Shopify Plus, including apps for personalization and merchandising Experience with Canva, Photoshop and Illustrator Experience with Yotpo suite including Ratings & Reviews, UGC and Subscription Familiarity with SEO best practices and ability to execute translations for multilingual websites Understanding of consumer behavior and what drives purchases No kingdoms nor mountains of gold, but many other rewards: No two days are the same in this career like no other.
