The Expert Group for Safety in the product line PES developed a demonstrator to provide practical visualizations of widely known use-cases to internal and external customers. This demonstrator is based on a virtual ECU and is implemented using the AUTOSAR Classic product of Vector, which is called MICROSAR Classic. It shall be extended by implementing the Partitioning Feature, which is required for freedom from interference.
The partitioning feature involves different modules that share their boundaries inside the Vector MICROSAR product. So, in order to implement this feature, you would have the opportunity to choose between various modules and design the architecture based on their interaction with each other. Thus, deepening your understanding of MICROSAR in different horizons.
We are looking for someone with a passion for Embedded Systems and especially focused on the Safety aspects. You will collaborate with the experts in this field, to develop new requirements and implement them. The use-cases are always focused on our customers' needs. Accordingly, the outcome of your work is going to have an impact on the Vector MICROSAR product.

Your Profile:- You study computer science, electrical engineering or a similar discipline
- First experiences in embedded Systems with C
- Ideally you are familiar with SW Architecture/ Design
- Good German and English language skills
Your Tasks:- Implementing Partitioning Feature as a new Safety use-case based on an existing Demonstrator
- Engineer the detailed requirements for your task and make yourself familiar with related topics (e.g. MPU, OS, SWC)
- Document the outcome for knowledge sharing with internal and external customers
