Stellenbeschreibung Your Responsibilities
- Independent and business-oriented consulting of departments of EEM - our central energy trading unit - on compliance-relevant operational issues, on the implementation of the compliance roadmap as well as regulatory energy trading compliance (REMIT, EMIR, MIFID II, MAR) for international wholesale energy trading (including electricity, gas, CO2 certificates, hydrogen).
- Identification, documentation and assessment of compliance risks for EEM as well as execution of relevant group-wide processes including digitalized tools (e.g. the quarterly group-wide reporting, the KYC process or the whistleblower system)
- Establishment and further development of relevant company-specific compliance regulations - both general and regulatory energy trading compliance (e.g. recommendations for action, guidelines, policies)
- Conducting compliance trainings for EEM employees and managers
- Interface management with other internal departments (e.g. Corporate Audit, Risk Management) and coordination with external consultants (e.g. auditors)
- Functional Steering and close connection to the central legal department of E.ON SE (Energy Markets & Market Regulation division)
Your Profile
- University degree in law (state examination) or comparable degree, good understanding of IT and processes desirable
- In-depth, proven multi-year expertise in handling compliance management systems and compliance cases; knowledge and practical experience in the area of regulatory energy trading compliance
- Ability and ambition to advise on compliance cases in a competent and solution-oriented manner and to provide corresponding support within the company/E.ON group
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Independent, precise and result-oriented way of working
- Confident appearance/assertiveness and high social competence
- Strong communication skills, experience in presenting work results and in training employees or managers
- Collegiality and pleasure of working in a team and in the Group-wide Legal & Compliance organization
- Business fluent in English (written and spoken)
