Stellenbeschreibung You as an expert will play a vital role to define negotiations strategies and execute best in class negotiations together with the category teams in order to secure the supply of key components and services and to deliver E.ONs growth in the energy transition.
Responsibilities
- You will define and challenge strategies and contractual designs for complex, strategic negotiations in close collaboration with the respective international category teams and technical expert groups
- You develop the best negotiation strategies and contract design for different cases and define the most suitable collaboration model with suppliers, considering e.g., demand/supply balance, risk, mutual commitments, technological changes and innovation
- You act as coach and/or active participant in negotiations and set-up negotiations in a fact-based manner to achieve favorable terms with our suppliers and to identify cost-saving opportunities
- You will be an expert for implementing fit for purpose and innovative negotiation methods, such as game and auction theory
- You are responsible to further develop the negotiation excellence in our organization and to consult/train our international category teams
Your profile
- You have an excellent masters / diploma degree
- You have at least 10 years of professional experience in preparing and conducting complex and high-volume negotiations in procurement, partnering or M&A
- You have achieved demonstrable successes in the planning, strategy, tactics and implementation of negotiations with international partnes considering aspects such as cost, innovation, efficiency, risk and delivery reliability
- You have deep expertise in setting up different contract designs with suppliers/partners, e.g. collaboration, partnering, long-term commitments and for different procurement categories, e.g., products, services, projects
- Personally, you are characterized as outstanding strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills and an entrepreneurial attitude
- You combine a result-oriented approach coupled with moderation and persuasion skills and enjoy working in an fast-paced, dynamic work environment
- You are a strong communicator and team-player, experienced in interacting with senior stakeholders
- You are fluent in English and German
